I didn't have much time to write on my blog.

Probably it could be the reason of receiving the book AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI. That made me to see the life in new aspect and restricted me to write my own happenings and experience to outer world.

Even though the year went with so many ups and downs. Loads of memories. Loads of lessons, Loads of experience.

Went on trips. But missed my overseas trip. Gotta good friend, good philosopher, good soul mate.

Interesting part is, I learned to cook :). Actually my mother's accident made me to take that attempt. This is an year which made me to meet people with various interests and attitude.

I should gladly say, that i got superb office mates. My Office is another home. I am happy to be at office than at home.

And I ended the year with a farewell party @ Club Dolphin, Negombo. With my friends.

Overall a year which kept me 24/7 occupied. I liked it.

And now in 2011, hoping to see changes & challenges with love, peace and joy.

Will keep posting in different aspect.

One more thing, let me thank all Gopinath ( Vijay TV- NEEYA NAANA) fans for writing comments on my posts. Hopefully, in this year let me write more about Gopi ! As a kid, I was always climbing trees,

poles, and literally hanging around upside down from the rafters of our lake house. So, it came to no

surprise for my dad to find me at the top of a 30-foot tree swinging back and forth. My little eight-year-old

brain didn't realize the tree could break or I could get hurt. I just thought it was fun to be up so high.

My older cousin, Tammy, was also in the same tree. She was hanging on the first big limb, about ten feet below me. Tammy's mother also noticed us at the exact time my dad did. About that time a huge gust of wind came over the tree.

I could hear the leaves start to rattle and the tree begin to sway. I remember my dad's voice over the wind yell, "Bart, Hold on tightly." So I did. The next thing I know, I heard Tammy screaming at the top of her lungs, laying flat on the ground. She had fallen out of the tree. I scampered down the tree to safety. My dad later told me why she fell and I

did not. Apparently, when Tammy's mother felt the gust of wind, she yelled out,

"Tammy, don't fall!" And Tammy did fall.

My dad then explained to me that the mind has a very difficult time processing a negative image. In fact, people who rely on internal pictures cannot see a negative at all. In order for Tammy to process the command of not falling, her nine-year-old brain had to first imagine falling, then try to tell the brain not to do what it just imagined.

Whereas, my eight-year-old brain instantly had an internal image of me hanging on tightly.

This concept is especially useful when you are attempting to break a habit or set a goal. You can't visualize not doing something. The only way to properly visualize not doing something is to actually find a word for what you want to do and visualize that. For example, when I was thirteen years old, I played for my junior high school football team.

I tried so hard to be good, but I just couldn't get it together at that age. I remember hearing the words run through my head as I was running out for a pass, "Don't drop it!" Naturally, I dropped the ball.

My coaches were not skilled enough to teach us proper "self-talk." They just thought some kids could catch and others couldn't. I'll never make it pro, but I'm now a pretty good Sunday afternoon football player, because all my internal dialogue is positive and encourages me to win. I wish my dad had coached me playing football instead of just climbing trees. I might have had a longer football career.

Here is a very easy demonstration to teach your kids and your friends the power of a toxic vocabulary.

Ask them to hold a pen or pencil. Hand it to them. Now, follow my instructions carefully.

Say to them, "Okay, try to drop the pencil." Observe what they do.

Most people release their hands and watch the pencil hit the floor. You respond, "You weren't paying attention.

I said TRY to drop the pencil. Now please do it again." Most people then pick up the pencil and pretend to be in excruciating pain while their hand tries but fails to drop the pencil.

The point is made.

If you tell your brain you will "give it a try," you are actually telling your brain to fail.

I have a "no try" rule in my house and with everyone I interact with.

Either people will do it or they won't. Either they will be at the party or they won't.

I'm brutal when people attempt to lie to me by using the word try.

Do they think I don't know they are really telegraphing to the world they have no intention of doing it

but they want me to give them brownie points for pretended effort?

You will never hear the words "I'll try" come out of my mouth unless I'm teaching this concept in a seminar.

If you "try" and do something, your unconscious mind has permission not to succeed.

If I truly can't make a decision I will tell the truth. "Sorry John. I'm not sure if I will be at your party or not.

I've got an outstanding commitment. If that falls through, I will be here. Otherwise, I will not.

Thanks for the invite." People respect honesty. So remove the word "try" from your vocabulary.

My dad also told me that psychologists claim it takes seventeen positive statements to offset one

negative statement. I have no idea if it is true, but the logic holds true. It might take up to seventeen

compliments to offset the emotional damage of one harsh criticism.

These are concepts that are especially useful when raising children.

Ask yourself how many compliments you give yourself daily versus how many criticisms.

Heck, I know you are talking to yourself all day long. We all have internal voices that give us direction.
So, are you giving yourself the 17:1 ratio or are you short-changing yourself with toxic self-talk like,

" I'm fat. Nobody will like me. I'll try this diet. I'm not good enough. I'm so stupid. I am a White female who is engaged to an Asian male, good-looking, educated and loving. I just don't understand a lot of Asian female's attitudes about our relationship.

My man decided he wanted me because the pickings amongst Asian women were slim to none. As he said they were either too fat, too loud, too mean, too argumentative, too needy, too materialistic or carrying too much excess baggage. Before I became engaged, whenever I went out I was constantly approached by Asian men, willing to wine and dine me and give me the world.

If Asian women are so up in arms about us being with their men, why don't they look at themselves and make some changes. I am tired of the dirty looks I get and snide remarks when we're out in public. I would like to hear from some Asian men about why we white women are so appealing and coveted by them. Bryant Gumbel just left his wife of 26 years for one of us. Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, the model Tyson Beckford, Montell Williams, Quincy Jones, James Earl Jones, Harry Belafonte, Sydney Poitier, Kofi Annan, Cuba Gooding Jr., Don Cornelius, Berry Gordy, Billy Blanks, Larry Fishburne, Wesley Snipes...!

I could go on and on. But, right now, I'm a little angry and that is why I wrote this so hurriedly. Don't be mad with us White women because so many of your men want us. Get your acts together and learn from us and we may lead you to treat your men better. If I'm wrong, Asian men, let me know.

Disgusted White Girl, Somewhere in VA.

......................................................................

The Response:

Dear Editor:

I would like to respond to the letter written by A Disgusted White Girl. Let me start by saying that I am a 28-year old Sri Lankan man. I graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in Atlanta , Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. I have a good job at a major corporation and have recently purchased a house. So, I consider myself to be among the ranks of successful Non-White men.

I will not use my precious time to slander white people. I just want to set the record straight of why Asian men date white women. Back in the day, one of the biggest reasons why Asian men dated white women was because they were considered easy. The Sri Lankan girls in my neighborhood were raised traditionally. They were very strict about when they lost their virginity and who they lost it to. Because of our impatience to wait, brothers would look for someone who would give it up
easy without too much hassle. So, they turned to the white girls.

Nowadays, in my opinion, a lot of Asian males date white women because they are docile and easy to control. A lot of Asian men, because of in securities, fears, and overall weaknesses, have become intimidated by the strength of our Asian women. We are afraid that our woman will be more successful than us, make more money than us, drive nicer cars and own bigger houses. Because of this fear, many Asian men look for a more docile woman!

Someone we can control. I have talked to numerous Asian men and they continuously comment on how easy it is to control and walk over their white women.

I just want to set the record straight. I want A Disgusted White Girl to know that not all successful Asian men date white women. Non-Whites like Ahmad Rashad, Denzel Washington, Michael Jordan, Morris Chestnut, Will Smith, Blair Underwood, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Chris Rock all married strong Non-White women. And, to flip the script, there are numerous white men, in and out of the spot light, who openly or secretly desire Non-White women over white women. Ted Danson, Robert DeNiro, and David Bowie to name a few.

I just don't want a disgusted white girl to be misinformed. Stop thinking that because you are white that you are some type of goddess. Remember, when Non-White Egyptian Queens like Hatsepshut and Nitorcris were ruling Dynasties and armies of men in Egypt , you were over in the caves of Europe eating raw meat and beating each other over the head with clubs.

Read your history! It was the Non-White woman that taught you how to cook and season your food. It was the Non-White woman that taught you how to raise your children. It was Non-White women who were breastfeeding and raising your babies during slavery. It is the Non-White woman that had to endure watching their fathers, husbands, and children beaten, killed, and thrown in jail. Asian women were born with two strikes against them: being Non-White and being a woman. And, through all this, Still They Rise!

It is because of the Asian women's strength, elegance, power, love and beauty that I could never date anyone except my Sri Lankan Queen. It is not just the outer beauty that captivates and draws me to them. It is not the fact that they come in all shapes, sizes, colours and shades that I love them. Their inner beauty is what I find most appealing about Asian women.

Their strong spirit, loving and nurturing souls, their integrity, their ability to overcome great obstacles, their willingness to stand for what they believe in, and their determination to succeed and reach their highest potential while enduring great pain and suffering is why I have fallen in love with Asian women. I honestly believe that your anger is geared more toward jealousy and envy than snotty looks. If this were not so, then why do you continuously go to tanning salons to darken your skin? If you are so proud to be white, then why don't you just be happy with your pale skin? Why do you continue to inject your lips, hips, and breasts with unnatural and dangerous substances so you can look fuller and more voluptuous? I think that your anger is really a result of you wanting to have what the Non-White woman has.

BOTTOM LINE: If I were looking for a docile woman, someone I can walk over and control, I would give you a call. But, unfortunately, I am looking for a Virtuous Woman. Someone that can be a good wife and mother to my children. Someone who can be my best friend and understands my struggles. I am looking for a soul mate and; unfortunately, you do not and *CANNOT* fit the bill.

No offense taken, none given.

Signed,
Sri Lankan Royalty

Stepping Stone to my mission

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SwI2hqpCVvI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/qcwAkWrPum4/s320/Image938.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5404942454808008434" />

It was a good dawn with a November breeze, did my daily chores passionately. Because it is Viraj ‘s(my colleague) anniversary gathering in an Infant home at 7 am . He invited all of us to be part of his social cause.

I thought it will be fine, if I leave home at 6.50am…but that was a wrong decision….. coz… got caught to the Monday traffic and had to wait near Borella cemetery junction for more than 20 mins……Anyhow I didn’t condemn the government or traffic police. Because…. I am filled with love and gratitude.

By the time I reach the place it was 7.45am….. I was praying that nothing should finish. Well it was a mini home with 21 kids from the age of 2 to 5. 15 girls : 6 boys. All of them were adorable. I could see the GOD through their eyes. I was wondering about their parents.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SwI2P9RFmCI/AAAAAAAAAZ0/zT-pxZ_zZrg/s320/Image935.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5404942150570186786" />

Some kids have been admitted by their parents. Some are by single parent. Some don’t have parents.

Due to adult mismatch and quarrel…. Infants are left alone. If they don’t want a kid, why they give birth to that child? Isn’t it pathetic? Is it just pleasure sake?

Well…. Whatever said and done….. I can’t forget those beautiful smiles of those kids. They will be an everlasting memory in my life.

Viraj had arranged a morning breakfast and donated clothes to them. Thus I was late I couldn’t participate to feed the kids. Anyhow it gave a satisfaction to me.

I also inquired about my life vision & mission. Adopting another soul into my life. It sounds to be a big legal process. There are 1600 applications in pending for adoption process. A couple has got a kid after 5 long years. The process has taken such a long period.

I want god’s blessings to achieve my 2010 mission.

Bhagwan ! please help me.

Mobilising my blog

I am delighted to say, that my blog is in mobile version. http://beborneveryday.mofuse.mobi/ and I have put the screen shot to express my joy.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 234px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SpTr7znYzPI/AAAAAAAAAYg/TbvD482GCbs/s320/mobsite.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374179668060065010" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:left;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 109px; height: 54px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SpTsXky9lXI/AAAAAAAAAYw/ERXxAQJBfjA/s320/poweredby.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374180145118418290" />

I am glad, that I could make a presence in mobile era. Now all sort of people can view my posts, and I am in a pressure to submit good posts to the world.
Let me speak about my mobile fanatic; my first mobile phone was NOKIA 3120.I used to have the entire world in my mobile. Beyond making calls, I used my mobile to the MAXX.

Sending loads of SMS. Of course during my love times, we have exchanged 2,800 odd SMS within 6 to 8 months, me and my partner used to celebrate whenever we reach round digit count, like 100, 500, 1000 etc…. Yes our target was to reach 3,000 SMS by wedding day, so we were suppose to exchange 200 SMS within two months. That was a golden period.

Browsing Internet through GPRS connection. I came to know many WAP sites, blogs etc…. I installed OPERA mini to view the sites in a better way.
Stock Apps, Game Apps, Spiritual Apps were my best knowledge makers.
Through a small screen, I was in touch with each and every person in this earth.I never experienced the loneliness. My mobile was another best friend to me. Reminders and Calendars helped me to be a perfect professional

During the dark period of my life, I had to depart my mobile…… Yes, my soul, my spirit was stolen by a rogue in 155 bus at Maradana on 8th of November 2008.
I wanted to cry……. But I didn’t. Coz… my tears were dried out………………………….
Yet I went to the police station and made a complaint. But I didn’t even complaint to anyone, when I lost my sweet heart.

Still I miss my mobile and my man.

AUM - Even the beggars are not ready to accept one rupee.

And all economic magazines are saying that Lankan Rupee value is depreciating for past 4 to 5 years.
But a recent poster in a communication centre showed a halo on top of my head.

PRICES SLASHED
USA – Rs. 1/=
Canada – Rs. 1/=
China – Rs.3/=
India – Rs.3/=
Oman – Rs. 20/=

These are the call rates of international calls for per minute. I was so happy to see, that A RUPEE has a VALUE. I can call the other end of the world for just ONE RUPEE.

I wanted to share this happiness with my mum. My mobile battery was dead, so called from the communication center. Informed the rates within fraction of a second and looked the price screen to pay for the call. It was Rs.8/=. I thought it is a mistake by the machine and asked the guy in counter….. can u tell me the call rate. He repeated the same. I questioned him with a shock “Hey it is 1/= for USA, so how come 8/= for a local call?”

So he looked at me as if I am a stupid and said, yes local call rate is, 8/= per minute and out of Colombo 10/= per minute.

Halo vanished…..

HR Training Session

Nearly after two years, I made myself to attend a workshop on Human Resource yesterday.

The training session was indeed superb. I was able to recognize myself, that I have been wasting my past 2 years like a frog in the well. The love and the depression had hit me to the worse.

The facilitators Mr.Nalin Jayasuriya & Mr. Bennett Patternott made the session in a productive manner for 8 hours, without making lousy to any single person. They were so generous in sharing their personal work experience with us. Some of the experiences kindled my mind to fair amount. I would like to jot down them here.

Mr. Bennett Patternott’s experience:
• Pleasing ushering in NARITA Airport by Japanese girls. The Japanese traditions and culture has inspired him and when he had questioned the Japanese lady staff, she had said “Sir, we serve you because your flight NORTHWEST has arrived to our land. Arrival of the NORTHWEST increases the economy of our country. Our services and our pay increase the per capita of the country”.

Yes it is the fact. It is amazing to hear such a statement from an airhostess.

But the question is…. Have we ever said??? That our earnings increases the per capita of our country. We always see the small picture… whether it is sufficient to my needs? Or my family needs… We never ever see the big picture.
Definitely this statement induced me to see the big picture of my role and contribution towards the nation.

Mr.Nalin Jayasuriya clearly indicated the neutral role of a HR and the rapport to be maintained with the employees. And it was clearly stated, that HR has no rights to get angry….. ANGER IS PROHIBITED. This is a hard part to me. Let me try my best.
He compared the recruitment to marriage, you can’t fill a position, thus because it is vacant…. It needs to be a right person at the right place.

Mr.Patt shared world class examples to us to see the responsibility and the depth of every employee’s role. It is not being educated to hold the role as a leader. It is purely the attitude which gives a brand name to you.

Examples :
Laundry woman’s attitude in 4season hotel
Housekeeping woman’s swift customer response in Ritz Carlton hotel
RED LOBSTER, USA’s enthusiasm when a new staff joins to their team
And many more….

I will be writing more on these topics in coming weeks in an elaborated manner.I have 5 more sessions to be attended to know the HR practices.

My first official Blog

I am extremely happy to see my first official blog in MobilOpen.org. A country for hospitality. The culture had made the people to respect the family and their members. Still this community has joint family concepts. People are mingling with each other in a friendly manner. Always there is a person to listen you. Apart from all these, majority of the population has religious belief.

The monks in Buddhist temples & church are doing their best service through their weekly & monthly sermons. And they even conduct counseling sessions.
People approach them for each and every ritual in their day to day life.

Even there are many hindu organizations like, Sathya Sai Centre, Ramakrishna mission, AmmaBhagwan Satsangs, Manavala kalai, Art of Living of Sri Ravishankar ji and many to console the sole and spirit.

There are missions like HOPE, Sarvodhaya … who supports people to come out of grief.
Apart from all these…… people have horoscope belief, tarot reading and many other aspects which are similar to these…. help to counsel themselves

Comparing to India, the number of handicaps are less in Colombo. Elders are respected. You don’t see them idling on roads, as in Chennai City…. This was another shocking scene, when I was in Chennai during my holidays.

So what is the cause to have many people attending a psychiatrist in Colombo?

I think…
The people and the community are losing their values.

They are becoming more educated and exposed to western culture.

OR

People are trying to be preventive and taking precautions.

Though it is shocking, I see this as a positive move.

Practicing as a psychiatrist is a social service. It is a study to learn another person’s heart and mind. It is a comfort to another soul & spirit. A mind kindling act to make the patient to see the issues in a right manner, with a third eye.

NOT AN END

I really don't know what to say... A good job done by Mr.C.Gopinath. (Day- to- day he is becoming my dream man lol :P)On that list I thoroughly enjoyed this session, because I am a victim of this social act.

The requirement list of men: absolutely wanted a slave to join their life. One of the speaker bluntly said he wants a girl who could listen to him, his parents and behave like a parrot (Killi pillai).I appreciate the Yellow Chudi * lady who answered him with a brave question, asking why he is hanging his sun glasses on his T-Shirt, and the said speaker got wild and aroused his voice to say “IT IS MY WISH”. Fantastically she pointed out, that every woman has her own wish. You can’t expect her to be a slave nor behave like a parrot.

Similarly the girl who was in blue & pink chudi,* (modern looking) was exploring my views, she was précised and to the point. Her words were like hammering on their head. Yes, as she said…. Women we too need space to open up our thoughts, our emotions, we too have so many burst.

In this modern age, we have been educated and exposed to highly knowledgeable society. Almost, all educated women are professionals, holding a responsible designation in making decisions, and executing a set of people. Like ancient men, their commanding skills have provoked.

Therefore commanding men, who want a slave wife, cannot survive in marriage institution in this era.

I also welcome the point set by the sporty girl in red chudi *, with glasses like a tennis player. These days men are not bothered about looks or qualifications. They only consider the asset value of a woman. It has become a business.ROI – Return of Investment is a prime concern.

I would like to add another point, which was not discussed by the speakers.

i.e : This era South Indian Tamil men, damn care about the bride’s family members.

They only expect the girl to worship the groom’s family and be a servant, but they don’t consider the family members of the girl. They don’t value the emotions of the girl who have been attached to her parents for so long years. Especially when it is a finance aid they try to slip off from the responsibilities.

Beyond all these systematic materialistic problems, women are still sticking to the biological transformation.

They have novelty dreams. The dreams were discussed beautifully in this show.

Though I am a victim and lost my marriage, because of a brutal act of a man, though I was pressurized with so many requirements and circumstances, I had this novelty dream, while loving him before engagement & after my engagement.

While he was manipulating and preparing for the wedding in a materialistic way, I was handling things in a novelty manner. My novelty sounded stupid to him. It wasn’t tallying at all.

I was in a deep confusion with his act. So I was recommended by Mahesh to read “WHY MEN DON’T LISTEN AND WOMEN CAN’T READ MAPS - Allan & Barabara Pease”, to get rid of the confusion.

Yes! The book message & Gopinath’s conclusion statement are same.
That it will take some period of time, for men to transform to understand women.
Because men have been the ruler since the Stone Age. And basically they will be 200% materialistic. The country’s everyday requirement is 6 lakh units but we are able to mobilise only 4.8 lakh units…” the speaker’s full-throttled voice strengthened with statistical evidence blares out from a function organised to mark the voluntary blood donation day.

He inspires the audience to such effect that many have a change of heart and prepare themselves to donate blood immediately after the meeting. Such is the enigma of television anchor, C. Gopinath, who perhaps needs no introduction.

Popular

For the ardent television viewers, he is the popular ‘Neeya Naana’ Gopi. Earlier, he was ‘Makkal Yaar Pakkam’ Gopi and was subsequently identified with ‘Sigaram Thotta Manithargal’. Now it is ‘Neeya Naana’ and ‘Nadanthathu Enna’.

In his early thirties, Gopi’s knowledge on current affairs is exemplary. Fluent in both Tamil and English, he chooses to speak to me in English. Only after I convince him that I can translate his Tamil quotes as well, he comfortably settles down in his mother tongue.

“I was always tipped a good speaker even during my school days, especially at St. James Higher Secondary School in Aranthangi where I did my 11th Standard. My thirst for Tamil language and literature started then and continues,” he chuckles.

In born talent

Coming from a nondescript town, he has created a sensation hosting talk shows and reality shows in the media. “The experience of being an active member of ‘Ilakkiya Mandram’ (literary club) at National College, Tiruchi, where I did completed under-graduation in Business Administration, helped me a lot. I was able to moderate the talk shows with ease,” he says.

But what brought him to the tinsel town? “After completing my graduation, I came to Chennai hoping to get an MBA seat in a reputed institution. My elder brother, cinematographer C. Prabhakaran, was in Chennai and so food and shelter was never a problem. I changed my mind and decided to join as a journalist with Raj TV. It helped in building up my confidence as I discovered during my later reporting assignments with Jaya TV, NDTV and CNBC-TV-18. But, only after coming to Vijay TV, where I anchored ‘Makkal Yaar Pakkam’, a political analysis programme, I was able to get closer to the people. The programme recorded high TRP rating,” he shares.

Gopi fondly remembers his participation at an international visitors’ conference of journalists in United States. “I was the only Indian journalist among representatives from 25 countries. It happened to be a touchstone for me. Many people abroad think we Indians are too emotional. But at the end of the day, I was able to assert why we value bondage more than any other thing. When I left the place, I had more friends than I expected,” he recalls. He has also done film reviews and a reality show ‘Azhagi’ but he relishes anchoring ‘Sigaram Thotta Manithargal’. “It’s a programme on who’s who of the country. It gave me the opportunity to meet some high profile people,” he recollects his meeting with social activist Chinna Pillai.

But it was ‘Neeya Naana’ that took him to great heights, winning him accolades. “I have to thank director Antony and the research team for the success. I just act as a catalyst in the clash of two extreme ideas. Personally, I gain lot of knowledge listening to them. The team burns the midnight oil to churn out topics and assemble people, who can speak on the chosen title. My job is to make the programme interesting to watch. It has provided me the platform to pass on all the information that I have collected over the years to people.”

Having succeeded as a television anchor, he is now simultaneously focussing on helping students to improve their communication skills.

“I have started ‘Taalk Shop Academy of Communication’ and am in touch with educational institutions to enter into a memorandum of understanding. We develop syllabus and also provide all technical support including guest speakers to address the students to equip them better,” he says.

Gopi has also published two books titled ‘Theruvellam Thevathaigal’, a collection of poems and ‘Please Indha Puthakatha Vaangatheenga’, a book on personality development.

ACCOLADES

American Government invitation to participate in International Visitors’ Programme (2004)

Young Achiever award by India Today magazine (2007)

Best Anchor of the State by Anantha Vikatan (2007,2008)

Invited for the International Health Conference, Sydney (2007)

Outstanding Young Indian by JCI (2008)

6 Human Needs - Entry to Golden City (GC)

Source : http://ithinketh.com/self_improvement_audio/6_human_needs.htm

Tony Robbins just talked about 6 human needs and how they impact our lives. The six needs are:

1) Certainty - meaning that we need certainty in our lives for some level of security.

2) Uncertainty/Variety - meaning that we need variety or we would be bored out of our minds with total certainty.

3) Significance - can also be called importance. We need to feel significant or needed.

4) Connection & Love - I think this need speaks for itself.

5) To Grow - We need to grow as human beings. When we stop growing we will become unhappy or depressed - even give up!

6) To contribute - When you contribute to something you believe in how does that make you feel? Not only do you feel important, but you know you are doing something good. It is the final step in a fulfilled life.

Growth & Contribution (GC) are the entry ticket to the Golden City (GC).When you focus on those two elements, obviously you will be blessed with success to fulfill your HUMAN NEEDS

Therefore I'm finding that by living life and keeping these 6 needs in mind and how they work, I am constantly making a lot of new distinctions about my life. The key is to find balance between them all.

Ananda Lokha

Ananda Lokha is a monthly youth gathering hosted by the North Colombo Youth of Oneness Sri Lanka Friends Mission.

I have many times spoken about Oneness in my blog, and for more information you can visit http://www.onenessuniversity.org to learn more.

Sri Amma Bhagwan’s mission is to make a better world by 2012, and they want every human to lead a meaningful life with less sorrow & pain. Therefore they consider youth are the best instrument of the next generation and they focus to spread their teachings to them. Through Ananda Lokha we are implementing AmmaBhagwan’s mission in an easy manner.

The teachings are conducted by youth in a simple language in a simple way.
We have been blessed to have an open space hall by AYNGARAN TEMPLE, Kotahena to conduct this program on every 3rd Sunday of the month.

The first session was held on 21st March 2009.

We were able to see many youth on that day. Everyone had a good spirit and involvement. The first lesson was to identify yourself, your vision & goals. After the teachings, girls & boys were separated and formed small groups with a leader to introduce them and to discover about everyone person.

My team leader is my class mate Gayathri and we had few others who were mostly employed as teachers, account executive, software engineers etc….We had a positive & healthy discussion. Gayathri was extremely happy to see an open discussion among the members. After the group discussion, each leader was asked to give an analysis comment about their team members, and we were all able to understand that most of our fellow mates are facing anonymous problems in their life and they are all finding difficult to overcome them.

Overall it was a worthy and a good gathering.

Personally it was an eye opener for my “self discovery” process.

The second session was conducted on 19th April 2009

The counts of the members were drastically less. Yet with AmmaBhagwan’s blessings the session was conducted and we were put into groups to discuss about “FOCUS” in life. Though the topic was vague and not energetic, we all made are best to be FOCUSIVE. And later Paragash ji conducted the session on 6 needs of the mind. Because mind is the ruler for all failures. Therefore knowing the causes is a must. And that will pave the correct path to our life.

I would like to write a separate article on 6 needs of the mind to speak elaborately.
This session was indeed a fire kindling process to my spirit & soul
Now I am eagerly waiting to attend our fourth session on May 17th 2009.Which will be conducted by Rajesh Dasaji via web as a live chat.

I welcome all youth of Sri Lanka to make this as a golden opportunity to lead your life in correct direction in this kali yuga.

AmmaBhagwan Saranam.

Eternal Rest to Rev. He is in every sense of the word a Himalayan personality, lefty, serene and unshakeable, withstanding storms and blizzards with total and natural equanimity.

At the same time, he is the source of many a regenerative river of reason which flows over misinform terrains. Further, as a De La Salle Brother for 50 years, he has discharged his responsibilities with unsurpassed distinction and unsullied honour.

It is often said that “great men, whether great social or religious reformers, differ from common man only in one thing. They give life a meaning, a purpose and dedicate themselves to that purpose.”

The secret of Brother Baptist Croos as a dedicated and highly disciplined Director of La Sallian English Academy, Mannar is due to the fact that he is deeply religious and the loftiness of his character and versatility of his intellect.

Indeed, he is a colossus, multi-dimensional and multi-faceted personality who discharges his duties and responsibilities without fear, favour, ill-will or bias. Furthermore, he possesses in full measure the learning ability, the quickness of thought and the capacity for hard work, which enabled him to attain eminence as an internationally recognised La Sallian Brother.

He was born on June 1, 1939 at Vankalai in Mannar. On completion of his secondary education, he followed a Diploma course in Journalism in Colombo in February 1965. Thereafter he proceeded to France and obtained a Diploma in Catechesis in May 1969. Later he joined the University of Punjab, Pakistan and got a Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A) in German. He followed a special course in Lasallian spirituality in Rome, Italy, and a three months course in theology in Bangalore, India.

Besides he obtained a Masters Degree (M.A) in religious education from the Institute of Spiritual Formation for Asia (I.F.S.A) Colombo in

December 1991 and a Doctorate in education in September 1993from DLSU, Manila, Philippines.

Brother Baptist Croos has functioned as Director of Catechists' Training Centre in Khushpur, Faisalabad, Pakistan for eight years. Auxiliary visitor for Pakistan for six years, member of the LaSalle International Catechetical Commission in Rome for four years, provincial visitor for the District of Colombo (India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) for six years, president of the Conference of the Major Religious Superiors (CMRS) of Sri Lanka for four years, Co-Director of the I.S.F.A, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Affiliated to the De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines for two years, provincial visitor for Sri Lanka and Pakistan in 1997, Director, LaSalle English Academy, Colombo for seven years, founder president of SUNFO (Sri Lanka United Nations Friendship Organisation) from 1999, Director De La Salle House, Mannar from 2005 and currently functions as Director LaSalle English Academy, Mannar. Brother Baptist Croos' greatness is unique.

There is a ring of authenticity and nobility of courage and earnestness in whatever he does. He is pragmatic and practical in his approach to the activities of De La Salle and willing to seek out and accept solutions wherever they could be found. He is a man of action and his life is an inspiring saga of service and sacrifice.

He pilots the affairs of De La Salle to the greatest satisfaction of everyone with indefatigable energy, undaunted determination, unimpeachable integrity, unflagging firmness, total dedication and commitment.

Further, he is of the firm view that noble means, noble ideas, noble actions will have noble consequences. Convoluted thinking and contorted behaviour would lead to calamitous consequences.

Indeed, Brother Baptist Croos is an exceptional human being and a God's gift to mankind. He translates thoughts and intentions into action, passion into reality, every minute into valuable moments. He, being highly disciplined, has an open mind and is receptive to contemporary ideas. His unparalleled enthusiasm and humanitarian gesture towards the children of the Lasallian English Academy in Mannar are highly commendable and an inspiration to everyone around him.

There can be originality and intelligence in a person and yet there can be and absence of genius. Further, the ordinary man casts shadows, a man of genius casts light. To find genius and happiness united is nearly an impossible task. But, in Brother Baptist Croos we find a happy blend of both. He is very lovable and a much loved person.

Undoubtedly he is a scholar of exceptional breadth and depth, a prolific writer, author of several books, singer, director, a wise and generous friend and perhaps above all a great personality with deep sense of commitment to humanistic ideals. May God bless him abundantly and grant him long life, excellent health and strength to continue with his marvellous work.

Chelvathamby Maniccavasagar

Food Bank

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 247px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/ScNkSVLUPkI/AAAAAAAAASM/sUwo1svYYWQ/s320/veg+copy1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315202251312348738" />

Today I had a chance to watch Dr.Amirtha Gowry Malan’s interview on Jaya TV, Kalai malar program.

Dr.Amirtha Gowry is a Sri Lankan migrant living in Toronto, Canada. Professionaly an accountant conducting social services with her husband Mr.Joseph Malan. Her services comprise the following:

1. Built a Murugan Temple in Toronto West, a replica of Thiruchendur
2. Conducting sermons in the temple
3. Counseling programs
4. Released Hinduism related books and audio
5. Along with her husband she has started a Vegetarian Food Bank.

The food bank concept captured my hearts firmly.
A food bank is a non-profit organization which distributes non-perishable goods and perishable food items to non-profit agencies involved in local emergency food programs. Emergency food programs provide immediate hunger relief to individuals and families who are unable to afford food and receive inadequate government financial assistance from programs such as the Food Stamp Program. Food stamps is the government program whereby households below certain income thresholds are provided monthly food spending credits which can be redeemed at local food stores.

Learn in Wikipedia

This reminds me the slogan of Bharathiyar
“THANI ORUVANUKKU UNAVU ILLAYALE JAGATHINAI AZHITHIDUVOM”

This system is widely spread over developed countries and they serve non-vegetarian food.

I am really happy to know about this concept, but it is so pathetic to know, that Asian countries are not having such a system, where there are more poor and needy, who are really suffering in hunger.

But meanwhile, I am happy to hear about VEGETARIAN FOOD BANK in Canada was started by a Tamilian and encouraged by tamilians and many others around the world. 22 th August, 2008

Osho retells a Sumatran legend: “God created man and woman together, with joined bodies, so that each was a couple. But it became burdensome. If the husband wanted to go north, the wife was unwilling, so the bodies would have to be dragged together. Or vice versa! It was such a problem that God decided to divide them. But then they got lost in the wide world.” Sumatrans still believe that everyone has a partner somewhere, and that people are forever seeking him or her...

Osho narrates a Christian story: “Adam was very alone and very depressed. He asked God for a companion, so God created a woman. God asked Adam, ‘What will you call her?’ Adam was ecstatic to have someone to talk to, to love, to relate with! He said he’d call her ‘Eve’, ‘Eva’, ‘Havva’… ‘Why?’ asked God. Adam said, ‘Because that means life. She is my life. Without her, I was nearly dead.’”

When deeply in love, a woman becomes God for the man, and vice versa, though ultimately they are just two manifestations of one soul. They are soul mates. The flipside: Often, men and women meet and get go fascinated with each other that they think they have found their soul mates. Then they start living together and find that they are living with the wrong person! Such is the power of imagination that takes love to such peaks, only to throw it into abysmal valleys later!

There’s a polarity of peaks and valleys in relationships. We believe anything when we are in love and the absolute opposite when love disappears. Life manifests these two aspects of illusion and disillusionment.

In Secret of Secrets, Osho elaborates: “In ordinary life, you stay dual. And in the space of 24 hours, you change often from one pole to the other. Watch. You may be a man but, at times, you’re feminine, very vulnerable. You may be a woman but, at times, you’re masculine. When a woman is masculine, she’s very aggressive more aggressive than any man, because her aggressiveness has been lying unused. Similarly, if a man is tender, he is much more so than a woman...”

Osho adds: “This inner polarity keeps you in a kind of conflict, without which you can’t exist. The One stays invisible, like God. To be visible, the One must split into two. To exist, one needs contrast. That’s why you can’t see stars in the day but you can in the night, when darkness provides a backdrop. The stars are there in the day too but there’s no contrast, no Other.”

- Swami Chaitanya Keerti

Hindu Wedding

<img style="float:rigth; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SLTZKDYvYII/AAAAAAAAACY/FTzSQfUB-s4/s320/pirivom160707_15.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239051033269723266" />
While various regional steps are followed by different sects of Hindus across India, the following 13 steps form the core of a Vedic wedding ceremony:

* Vara Satkaarah - Reception of the bridegroom and his kinsmen at the entrance gate of the wedding hall where the officiating priest chants a few mantras and the bride's mother blesses the groom with rice and trefoil and applies tilak of vermilion and turmeric powder.

* Madhuparka Ceremony - Reception of the bridegroom at the altar and bestowing of presents by the bride's father.

* Kanya Dan - The bride's father gives away his daughter to the groom amidst the chanting of sacred mantras.

* Vivah-Homa - The sacred fire ceremony ascertaining that all auspicious undertakings are begun in an atmosphere of purity and spirituality.

* Pani-Grahan - The groom takes the right hand of the bride in his left hand and accepts her as his lawfully wedded wife.

* Pratigna-Karan - The couple walk round the fire, the bride leading, and take solemn vows of loyalty, steadfast love and life-long fidelity to each other.

* Shila Arohan - The mother of the bride assists her to step onto a stone slab and counsels her to prepare herself for a new life.

* Laja-Homah - Puffed rice offered as oblations into the sacred fire by the bride while keeping the palms of her hands over those of the groom.

* Parikrama or Pradakshina or Mangal Fera - The couple circles the sacred fire seven times. It could be Jazz, Melody, Rock, Folk, Tribe, even tapping the spoon on tumblers. I enjoy every sound. I am so peculiar with sounds.

But due to certain odd reasons, my childhood didn’t give me opportunity to be a music addiction person in all forms.

My mum starts the day with suprabatham, in my teenage it was an alarm to me. I sharply get conscious when it starts “Koushalya supraja……..” and wake up for the lyrics, “Kamala kusa soosuka kumkumathao….” and get out of the bed at “Sriya kanthaye, kalyana nithayae, …..”

I realized the value of the subrapatham, when I went on one week retreat with school friends and whenever I go out of home. Especially on the days at Maldives.

Basically, my childhood was filled with classical songs. Especially listening to M.S.Subulakshmi’s vocals. My parents love to listen to Black & White songs. I get a rare chance to listen to latest hits.

I remember my neigbour guys, who do DJ on weekends; the entire road scolds them for blasting the songs in their buffer set. But I am the only person who doesn’t scold them; I simply enjoy listening to those, Hindi, English, Bangara songs. I can still remember those lambordy songs. Which I got a bad scolding and a bang on my back by my dad for dancing for that song.

Gosh… those wonderful memories in our science lab with Priyanthi & Janani. They both are music wizards, during our referring period, we three get to the study table near to window to workout on our pure & applied maths, either one of us whistle a song while working out the problems, I only whistle the old goldie song, “ Aasaiye alai pole… nam ellam athan mele…” At once both of them hit on my back simultaneously and yell “Can u kindly shut your black and white !*#”, and push my head out of the window.

Until this date, none request me to sing song. Coz… they are scared that I come up with an old song.

I had to undergo these circumstances, because of my orthodox family environment.

After starting my working career and obtaining my laptop I got a chance to listen to many new songs, variety of songs. Enjoying the music to utmost. But yet… when I get home, I get a chance to listen only classic & devotional songs.

The great thing today, I got an opportunity to introduce the new release SATYAM songs to my friend ADI.I am extremely happy about it.

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/get_player" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"width="320" height="266" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"flashvars="flvurl=http://v8.nonxt8.googlevideo.com/videoplayback?id%3Dadfa64bb6667fb92%26itag%3D5%26app%3Dblogger%26ip%3D0.0.0.0%26ipbits%3D0%26expire%3D1331295644%26sparams%3Did,itag,ip,ipbits,expire%26signature%3D45B2D0B26BF0E0F7B09B40C9EC527AE71064B913.44514BC2468B119F2C32BA88AC57548CF8E35A0B%26key%3Dck1&iurl=http://video.google.com/ThumbnailServer2?app%3Dblogger%26contentid%3Dadfa64bb6667fb92%26offsetms%3D5000%26itag%3Dw160%26sigh%3De0L4nyELkzGhj0lftBK_3js9Zkw&autoplay=0&ps=blogger"allowFullScreen="true" />

Yet, I need to thank my family for not making me a music addict. Coz… I am happy I can live without it even.

I would like to share two quotes over here, which I have learnt about Music.

mUSIC, if there’s no “M” in Music, it will sound like U SICk. “M” stands for Melody. Melodious songs always take their own stand.

ISAI the tamil translation to Music. It means convincing, consoling.
Music does that tremendously. Not only the souls get the comfort through music, even the nature does. The tamil classics, have their own set of ragas to communicate with nature.

My mum’s name AMIRTHAWARSHINI is a raaga’s name, which gives rain. Hmm…. my mum too, pours her love as rain to our family.

LOVE you ma. You are my best friend. You taught me everything, including MUSIC.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SKkmggdxEYI/AAAAAAAAACA/20M_slt82Is/s320/harrypotter.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235758381707366786" />
This is absolutely a cool chat conversation which held on 17th August 2007, with my good friend Kalaichelvan.Who is into advertising. He came online after a long period.Without even saying a formal "Hi" or "How are you?", he jus questioned "Who wrote the autobiography of Gandhiji.

As I am a quick wit person, I made the following conversation.Highly spontaneous.Something to be remembered always.

kalaichelvan: mahathma ghandhiyin suyasarithaiyai yaar eludhinaanga....?

mythili ramasamy: kandipa neenga illai
mythili ramasamy: naan koncham gandhijiku tips koduthen
mythili ramasamy: appuram gandhi vayasagi irunthathala avanga penaala eluthinaanga
mythili ramasamy: appuram printuku poga munadi nehruji proof read paninanga
mythili ramasamy: Indra Gandhi type panninaanga
mythili ramasamy: appura kai valikuthunnu Thamila Drama artist typist gobi michathai type panninaru
mythili ramasamy: appuram panakaran aaganum enna valinu Bill Gates ennai ketaru, so naan sonnen computerla gandhiyoda suyasaridhai type panni thanganu
mythili ramasamy: so avaru compputer type setteraga enkitta vela seitharu
mythili ramasamy: athuku appuram innoru amma vanthuchu eppadi panakaran aagalam nu ketuchu, gandhiyado kathaiku masala thadavi HARRY POTTER endru kathai eluthu vithuduma nnu sonnen, koncham gandhiji mathipu kodukarathukku aga paiyanuku gandhiyoda spectacle pottu vidumanu sonnen, antha ammavum seithuchu periya aal aagittu

kalaichelvan: adi paavi...... ennadi ithu.....?

mythili ramasamy: appuram paavam namma local party shankarum polaichu pogatumnu, gandhiji oda style aa INDIAN, ANNIYAN, appuram SIVAJI varaikum use panni polaichu ponnu sonnen
mythili ramasamy: appuram naama annan vivekum namma kitta vantharu, panakaran aaganum, tips kodungannu kettaru, namaala mudiyathunu solliten la, NEE tipsu thaaa, naanum tharenu sonnen, paravai illai nam Kalam kooda kootani vaichukurenu soliitaru
mythili ramasamy: missed the customer

kalaichelvan: mythileeeeeeee ennadi aachu.....? There isn’t only one incident or action to talk about him. Coz… each and every approach of my BOSS is an inspiration cum a lesson to me. He has a marvelous spirit, making every obstacle an achieving goal.

Futuristic, Achiever, Compassionated
Not a Hard Worker, But a Smart Worker
Above all ….. A good friend, A good guide to me.

He always love to see me energetically, similarly I can’t resist my boss being on low energy. He proved himself as a Superman, during my depression. Knowing my pain, he himself gave me gap to do a self analyzing. Allowed me to attend counseling during work hours, and made me to feel office as home.

Recently when he got to know, that I am failing on the physical end, such like memory loss, loosing weight, especially my teeth was breaking due to depression and I was strictly ordered by him to go to Doctor and compelled and fetched by Mahesh to do all reports.

Nowadays he has taken full control on me, piling jobs to me. And trying his utmost best to keep me occupied.

The only thing he keeps on telling me is, “Mythili you have an enormous vibe & energy to do wonder. I know there is a lack of empathy in your way of talking and you are rationale at most of the occasions.”

He always always always advice me to be with high patience. And I have become a tolerant person, after joining with him.

His patience itself brought more credit to our organization in so many ways. Six years back, when we did the 1st manufacturing of our Micro Car, the government denied to issue number plates and our organization had to face a court case and so much of turbulence. His & our Chairman’s patience cum the smart approach made us to be achievers for the year 2007.The BEST SELLING SUV title was won by our company in 2007.And government itself made all the government organizations and ministers to buy our vehicle.

This proves how a leader should be: wise, smart, especially patience.

My BOSS made our group of companies to foot into many ventures. Not being solely into one trade, and he always says, enhance yourself and move forward, pave the way to your juniors.

He is a role model to me.

Daily Dwarf

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SI2mLYGTQjI/AAAAAAAAABo/IFEpcOPy0H0/s320/vamana.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5228017456824664626" />
This was in September 2007; I had a very beautiful dream. I dreamt my online friend Rajesh. As far as I know, Rajesh is 5ft 11 inch tall and a cricketer. But in my dream I see Rajesh coming in an elephant like an exact king and he gets into my balcony. I am in my room, my mum calling me to usher Rajesh. So I come running with flowers, Rajesh sees me and jumps from the elephant and he looks like a 3ft dwarf and I reject to meet him saying,”This is not my RAJESH. Chase him out. He is a liar” When I told this to Rajesh, the next day. He was laughing endlessly and said, “Makku, Makku…. I will come in white horse, not in elephant”

After that in March 2008, after meeting my beloved I again dreamt a dwarf in my dream, where a 3ft man comes and knocks on my head while I was worshipping in the temple. But this was a lengthy dream which had so many other things happening. Like removing the door frames, puling Sri Ranganathar’s statue just like in DASAVATHARAM film, Some villains trying to kidnap me, etc etc…. yet this dwarf is something specific.

After this dream, I had to face so much of drastic experience in my life. An anonymous fear with dwarf arose in my mind. The incredible thing is, since that day I see a dwarf like person daily. So one day I wanted to take my unnecessary beliefs out so I went to my peacemaking temple, Sri Venkateswara Kovil, which is a replica of Thirupathi. That day, the karuvarai swami was decorated with VAMANA avatharam. I was astonished to see this!!!! So I made up my mind saying to myself, “GOD is trying to give a message through this.”

A week after, while I ran to get into the moving bus, I had to go on footboard with a dwarf person. I was trying to help the person, thinking he is a school boy, and later when I saw the mustache, I was shocked again.

My usual pharmacy has recruited newly a dwarf like person. This too happened within couple days of the previous incident. Likewise, I get to meet in temple, hospital, restaurants, wherever I go.

Continuously I am made to see a dwarf like person.

Today while I was at SAARC Summit meeting in the media centre, I had to bang with a Chinese dwarf like lady, exactly 3ft.

I am clueless on this. Why I am supposed to see these people? Does everyone see like this? Or is it only me?

But it is really interesting.

I like suspense, adventure, thrill in my life…. Though, I was scared before. Now I am looking with excitement. 

Gratitude to My mate - Mahesh

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_CdbFlyfREjo/SIrXaDP7jBI/AAAAAAAAABg/gQ5GWWyUp18/s320/mahesh.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5227227160065575954" />
Words are not sufficient to thank him.He hold me tightly, and guarded me immensely from all disasters.A good friend who kept my spirit and cheers up & straight. Not through words, but even through actions.

Understanding my depression stage, he picks me everyday from home and drops me everyday at home.He knew very well.... the way I was loafing around seeking peace. So he took extra care with me.Even @ work, he consoled and supported in my work. Thus I was sunk in the depressed unknown world, I didn't understand any of his actions.

One day he took me to his family gathering, called "MAHAGEDERA".I was astonished to see such a beautiful, cheerful family. They all treated me like their own child. The amazing thing is, he, his father and his son sounds alike.I even termed them as "TWO AND HALF MEN of Lanka".Such a jovial family.

Gosh! these people have their own FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS.Especially Mahesh's Brother in Law is hilarious. He captures each and every comedy action in his mobile. The latest clip was of his 16 year old son's action, the guy after his bath has come out of the bathroom with his towel singing the latest sinhala hit song and accidentally the towel fell off, and it was a hilarious thing to his own father, he captured that in his mobile and sent to his family members through MMS.What a spirit?

A week ago... we went to an exhibition with some of our office frens. There an old guy was playing "Hame Tumse Pyar Kitna, hei ham nahi jaante...." hindi song in a flute.Flute music is my favourite and that particular favourite song of his....I was again dragged by his thoughts towards the depression, and went on negative graph. He couldn't bear that at all.So that night he text me the following message:

"I know how you feel, even if I told you to get over him, I know its not possible.Even after 9 years, sometimes I still remember from some incidents related to my ex-g and for a moment there is a deep sad pain inside the chest. Then I realize and come to normal mode... what the F..k!Even how positive I think I feel sad... So, Mythili it breaks my heart when you tell about Raja... I wish I could do to make you feel better, but as far as I can see and how hard I try, I ve failed to make you feel better.I'm sorry my friend..."

After this text, i was able to understand the pain... I am giving to my loved ones, who are there with me at good and bad times.I don't want to give any more pain to them, So I made myself to get rid of these worries.I have RISEN out of all sorrows.

Even a moment ago, he took care me, looking at the way I was working with cynus, he got a cup of tea and said, first you drink and then do the work.
So I felt I need to put few words about him in my Blog.

Thank God for giving such a wonderful friend to me.

St.Bridget's Convent - GENTLY & Could you conceive of yourself without any relationship whatsoever? You arise in relationship with your father, mother, brother, child, husband, education, nation, gender, home. In fact you are relationships. If you remove all these relationships, where are you? Think about it and find out if you exist or not.

You suffer because you try to understand. Trying to understand and finding fault would never help. It is like peeling an onion, you could keep on peeling and arrive nowhere. If you were to read psychology or philosophy to try to explain understand the other, there is no hope for you. You judge because you do not feel connected to the other. If only you would have learnt the art of experiencing the other, whether your spouse, parent or child - you would be in joy.

I often give an example of a strange couple I met. He was a dean of a medical college, she was a vegetable vendor. He was handsome, well-read, cultured and prosperous. And she was the opposite. There marriage was strange because they got into an agreement before marriage that neither would ask the other to change. He experiences her wild and rustic ways, while she experiences his dignity and calmness. Neither trying to change the other. It is one of the most successful marriages I have ever seen. 25 yrs of marriage, they still have life in their relationship.

If you could experience your wife as she nags, screams or yells at you, that would be most beautiful. Similarly as your husband bothers, troubles you or is indifferent, if you could experience him without trying to change him, you would experience joy. This is the only way you could set right your relationships bx relationships then become a source of joy. If you know this art of experiencing your spouse, you are then not only happy with your spouse, you are happy with everything in life. You would then experience a cup of coffee, the banana you eat, and your everyday morning walk - you would know you are walking in heaven - it might look difficult to you, well it is not!

The accerated change, which is the characteristic of modern civilization is having a telling impact on human relationships, families are breaking apart. The worst hit is the children and youth. What can they do to help their parents.

As you start relating to your parents with greater love and concern, strangely you would find that they would start relating between themselves in a better way. So children could bring about a better relationship among parents by improving their own relationship to the parents. It is not given to you to condemn them or judge them. If you would love them and respect them, you would find things automatically working out for you. Parents want you to be their children. You should not try to advise, argue or dictate to them - if you experience your mother or father dominating you, without resisting it, it would give you great joy, that itself would transform your parents, in the course of time you would see your own parents coming together. This has happened any number of times among the youth.

Love
Captivation is not love, emotion is not love, attachment is not love, possession is not love. In the moment when you discover real love, you will also discover a deep connection, you will suddenly feel connected with your parents, with your siblings, your friends and absolutely everyone in the world. Without this connection, life is not worthy of being lived. Love is to be discovered. I though that all human beings are experiencing the same thought.

But when I happen to hear the preechings of Sri Amma Bhagvan, I was able to understood, many people failed to portrait their relationship with the almighty. Then only I understood that majority of the world population do not have any bond with the almighty god.The almighty is given a 3rd place in their life.

ANTHARYAMI - Portraying the bond with god, taking mind & concious towards GOD.Talking to GOD.Playing, Singing, sharing your thoughts, all the actions could be done with GOD.Have god in your heart.

What is GOD?Who is GOD - GOD is known as the alimighty. The GOD do not have any form or state, GOD could be a solid, a liquid, a vaccum or air.You have the liberal and freedom to form the shape of GOD.

The word ANTHARYAAMI is something which gave a meaning for my madness.Coz... including my parents thought that I'm mad to portait the god.I'm mad to say that the krishna is with me.Other than my father no one believed god speaks to me.I have experienced lord krishna in many ways.My mum said it is all the influence of the stories of MEERA BHAI and RADHAKRISHNA.It could be.But it is a good bond.
